Team Star
“This is more than technology—it’s a pair of wings, lifting midwives to a future where no mother’s life hangs in the balance.”
The Clinical Gap
Despite SDG targets, Bangladesh faces significant Maternal (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rates (IMR). Midwives are often untrained in handling complicated delivery matters. Cultural barriers, inadequate medical equipment, underfunded facilities, and an inefficient referral system contribute directly to these preventable tragedies in rural and urban areas alike.
The VR Solution
Training Midwives via Virtual Reality. By offering immersive, simulated environments, midwives gain hands-on practice for high-stakes complications without patient risk. The system is scalable, cost-effective, culturally sensitive, and offers real-time feedback, ultimately reducing the pressure on government hospitals and decreasing mortality rates.

Strategic Rollout Policy
Phase 1: Needs Assessment
Conduct comprehensive surveys of existing midwives (both trained and untrained) across the country.
Phase 2: Train the Professionals
Introduce the VR platform to Divisional Hospitals to establish a core group of master trainers.
Phase 3: District Expansion
Scale the training framework into different districts, increasing accessibility for rural healthcare workers.
Phase 4: Monitoring & Data Collection
Obtain and track data of all trained midwives nationwide, recording their fieldwork outcomes to measure impact on MMR and IMR.
